Since I have a load of stickers left over from my childhood (I save almost everything) I decided to use one to make my lighter cute! It's blue and purple so it matches my hair :D I have purple on my lower layers.

I had a super fun time chilling with some new Hollywood friends! Like I've done for the past few weekends hahha! Soo tired...

These past few weeks I just haven't been able to find a fuck anywhere. I've been feeling very anxiety ridden and depressed. I hope my attitude towards things turns around because I'm tired of feeling hopeless.

Weekend

I had a wonderful weekend with my new friend in Hollywood! We bleached and dyed each others hair, so not all of the black is out of my hair and it's juts blue! I'm super happy about it because I've been getting tired of the black paint splatter on the top of my head. I'll post pictures when I straighten it :]

As for my day today I've been writing my paper and have almost half of it done. I'm trying to extend it to 10 pages, but I don't think I'll get past 5 or 6. My professor did say that it just can be no longer than 10 pages, so I think I'll be okay. It's so hard to write since I can't find any peer reviewed articles on what I'm writing about. So it is all just coming from my head and I have nothing to base my paper on. Ugh.

Time to eat then get back to writing!

I GOT A JOB!

I just received an email from an employer and I got a job! I'll be working in student accounts in a basement. I'm pretty fucking stocked.

I got a second interview today!

Yesterday I got a call from one of the jobs I applied to on Friday for a second interview today! I go in at 1:30pm and I'm completely ready for this. I really hope I get this job! Wish me luck! :D

True Blood

I finally wore my true blood shirt today! I got it at hot topic a while back on sale. It's a 3XL, so I pinned the back and kinda made a short dress out of it. I also stopped being lazy and straightened my hair today.

Study Time

Spending the day in the library today studying for my old norse class, trying to finish a component of the ethnography I'm doing and researching articles for my archaeology paper. Not as much fun as my friday and saturday which I will blog about when I have the extra time.

Going into my Old Norse class I thought it was the most fun thing in the entire world. Now I see that I got in WAY over my had an can barely keep up. It's stressing me out big time. This coming week is my 7th week out of a 10 week quarter so I'm almost done. I just have to power through these next few weeks and try for the best grades possible in all of my classes.


I also applied to two more jobs this past friday and tomorrow is when I find out if I got any of them. I was interviewed on the spot for both jobs so I hope I got one of the two.

Ahh back to studying...

Ugh

I want a job so badly. Not only because I need to pay my bills, but I also miss being able to treat myself once and a while. Even though I hated working at my old job, I actually miss it. Well miss the money I would get from it not really the job itself haha.

I mean I really don't understand why I haven't' gotten one yet. I made sure I was qualified for all the jobs I applied for. I have four years of customer service experience, I know how to use a cash register, prepare food, answer phones and do office work such as filing, emailing and scheduling appointments. I can even hawk to customers and make them buy things with the experience I gained while working the Renaissance Faire. All of my  references are my old bosses who I've talked to and they will all give me  glowing reviews. In any job I've ever had I've never had one complaint about the way I work and had gotten employee of the month several times at my last job.

UCLA I REALLY don't fucking understand the way you work. You pride yourself in helping students, yet you don't. I've applied to about 15 jobs here and I don't understand whats wrong with me. I've had outside professional sources read my resume and they said there was nothing wrong with it. I also know it's not my hair since I've seen many students working on campus with alternative colored hair. While interviewing I'm articulate and answer questions very well. So really now what the fuck is the problem?!

I haven't been updating my blog this past week as much as I would have liked to. I've been busy studying for my Archaeology midterm that I have in about an hour. It's only 47 questions multiple choice so I think I will do well enough. I've been listening to more Culture Club lately and kinda felt a bit 80's today. :]

Still no word on any job yet, so I'm applying to two more today. This is getting annoying.

Halloween!

I has such a great Halloween! I went to West Hollywood with my friend and we had an awesome time looking at all of the detailed costumes people were wearing. It was amazing! I have never seen such detailed oriented costumes on Halloween before. I'm most definitely going back next year!

Even the bus ride over there was fun! The bus was completely packed with people dressed in costumes going to the event. I wish I had taken out my camera and taken a picture of it.

BTW I had no money this year so I used my existing clothes and went as a bloody jester. Halloween just isn't Halloween without BLOOD!
