I'll make another post since Tumblr is still down for me. I've been going to the gym for three weeks now and eating very healthy. I've also stopped having large fatty meals late at night (I'm always up doing homework) and have replaced them with a light yoghourt or a tangerine. I'm already starting to see results and am very proud of myself for sticking to my new years resolution of becoming healthier. My waist is becoming smaller and so are my thighs. Right in time for bathing suit season lol!!11~*~
No just kidding. I never go to the beach. For one I can't swim, I hate the sun and pass out from heat very easily, I'm afraid of large bodies of water, sharks, jelly fish and I hate loud kids, sand in my ass crack, walking in sand, my hair getting frizzy from the humidity, etc. The only thing I like about the beach is the seagulls because I find them fucking hilarious.

Last Friday!
Last Friday was my last weekend going back home for a while (I've gone home for the past two weekends). I have midterms coming up which are going to beat my ass. Taking 4 classes at UCLA is quickly burning me out. Mostly because I dislike two of my classes. One of them being animal communication which counts as a biological anthropology credit instead of a linguistic anthropology credit? It confuses me. Sure there are some scientific terms in class like fitness, but mostly we talk about monkey's genital rubbing. *sigh* Only 6 more weeks of this quarter to go.

Bows
On Thursday my work had an even in the morning so my shift was canceled and I got to sleep in! I also had time to properly get ready for school (I've been wearing a lot of band tees and jeans lately). However, while I looked awesome, as soon as I stepped outside the lovely gloomy weather LA was having was gone and it was ball sweating hot and there I was in a velvet dress. Safe to say I almost had a heat stroke on the way to class.
Bow Cardigan- Forever 21 $22.00
Velvet Dress- Goodwill (in Georgia) $2.50
Tights- Target $8.00
Glasses- H&M $1

Back to Blue
I took this today while studying at school. The purple plum dye I put in my hair a little over a week ago has turned itself back into the electric blue I had before. I have never had plum fade to blue before. I can't wait till I can bleach the whole damn thing and go Hot Pink!
3 Day Weekend Update
I had a very nice 3 day weekend. I got to spend some wonderful time with one of my best friends! We had so much fun this weekend. We went to sushi, Chinese, bought doughnuts (ahh food <3), had a spa night, walked to Melrose and went to my favorite store Necromance (where I bought a vile to put my baby teeth in for a necklace I'm making), watched ghost shows while contemplating our new project, spent time with some other friends and also spent a whole night on chat-roulette lol.
I also wanted to try something new with my makeup so I drew on thicker eyebrows, I like it a lot :D

Gothic Goodies Part 4
Alright guys! I finally dyed my hair with N'Rage and here is my raging review! Before I dyed my hair, I bleached my roots because I thought the Plum color from this brand I was using would be lighter than my natural color. Well after bleaching and applying the dye correctly, it turned my roots a weird reddish brown. So now I have reddish brown roots -_-. Also I have NEVER encountered a dye that bleeds this much. I had to leave bleach in my tub for two days to get it all out. Also, the first picture of me below, I took a nap and sometimes when I sleep I drool (yeah gross whatever, everyone does it at one point or another lol) I was lying on my side so some of my hair was touching my face, and when it touched my drool it stained my face. Also, my hands and neck have been constantly purple.
This is what the Plum color looks like after one wash. Next time I wash my hair I'm going to use dish soap to lighten it a shade, it's a bit too dark for my taste. However, if you want to deal with the constant bleeding of this dye and want a darker color then by all means use it. I will never use this dye again.

Alterations
Yesterday I altered a velvet dress I bought at the goodwill in Georgia. When I bought it, it went down to my ankles, but was only $2.50 so I had to purchase it. With the leftover fabric I made a medium sized purse, which I will post pictures of later.

Gothic Goodies Part 3
Okay! So today I'm going to do a review on the hair dyes I've tried. I've been dying my hair these types of colors since I was 14, now I'm 21, so I have a little experience in using them all. Now everyone's hair may be different, so your opinions may differ, but this is just what I have experienced. Keep in mind before using all of these hair dyes I have bleached my hair to the appropriate shade of blonde before using any of them. I also wash my hair about once a week when I have these colors in my hair and ALWAYS deep condition and trim the dead ends of my hair once every three months. So here are my short, yet I think, useful reviews. If you have any comments for questions don't hesitate to put them in the comments below :]
1) Manic Panic- I've used various colors in Manic Panic from bright red to purple and the colors always turned out way lighter than expected and washed out in about two weeks. However, it could have just been my hair because I do know people who have used this brand and they have gotten the bright colors they wanted. So it's worth a try.
2) RAW- Let me tell you, I absolutely hate this brand. Once I bought a cherry red from their line, applied it to my bleached hair and kept it on the appropriate amount of time, and the final color was a brown purple. Safe to say I was pissed. I even went as far as to try and contact their customer service. I called them several times during their business hours and never got a hold of anyone, even after calling everyday for a week straight. I thought that maybe it would be just a random fluke, so a few weeks ago I purchased their hot pink color, applied it to my bleached hair and when I washed it out all my hair was no different. It didn't color at all. I've heard this same thing from several other people as well.I do no recommend this brand at all.
3) Jerome Russel Punky Colors- This brand is one of the two best I have come across. I've used every shade of purple and red that they have. For me, the color always stays in more than a month. I have their plum in the bottom layers of my hair right now and it has been over a month and it is still vibrant. The downside is the first week you have it in it bleeds everywhere, but as long as you are careful, it's totally worth it. I HIGHLY recommend this brand.
4) Special Effects- This is the other awesome brand of hair dye I have come across. I love them, if I could marry them I would. I've used all of their reds, purples, blues, their turquoise and napalm orange. I know people that use their cupcake pink and their different shades of greens as well. After the first wash the color bleeds a little, so just be careful after touching your hair, but this color lasts a little over three weeks for me. I have their Nuclear Blue on the top layers of my hair and it's been there over a month and has faded to a gray purple blue. Their colors always turn out vibrant. I most highly recommend this brand.
5) N' Rage- Since my paycheck was lost in the mail, I have no money. So while in Georgia I was looking for a Plum hair dye to use so my boyfriend could buy it for me. I came across this dye in Sally's Beauty Supply and decided to give it a go. I'm going to dye my hair with it later this week when I can get my hands on some bleach. I'll update you how it goes when I do it.
I hope some of this was helpful!

Georgia
I had such a fun time visiting my boyfriend in Georgia! We mostly just spent time together watching TV and eating mass amounts of food. We both actually gained weight because for some reason when we are together we eat A LOT. Now that I'm back in LA I have to start working out to lose it all haha. As always my new years resolution is to lose more weight. I'm thinking, including the weight I gained from Georgia, about 15 pounds. So I will get to it! Today I'm also altering one of the three dresses I got while being there.
