Yet, again I've been busy working over the last few days. Boring, I know. However! I had the brilliant idea to make hair accessories and finally get my etsy shop up and running. The best part? My dad said he would invest in it and buy my supplies. So on Wednesday we are headed to the fashion district to buy more hair clips and flowers.
So here's what I need you to do! If you are interested in buying one of my flowered hair accessories tell me what kinds of pictures you want in the middle and I'll make them!

inspiration
"“When I was a kid I looked for a look. You know, the look of the obsessed!, in photographs and in sound. I’d play the same record 600 times. The artists I loved, I voided them of their sexual orientation, their names, birth date, they became simply, a heart beat. Mine. I spent every hour dreaming. Every hour searching. I’d talk to those photographs, dead people in photographs that made eye contact with me.Art is life and death, and it doesn’t matter which.”

thinking...
I'm thinking of revamping my blog page. I'll start after I'm done posting this. White I love the cuteness of my current page, it really isn't me. Considering you know...my life revolves around the colours black, red and white. Currently, I'm sitting at Starbucks with my best friend Violet and bumming out until we go see Horrible Bosses. We both work at the same movie theatre so we thought "well might as well use the free tickets we get". I've been working there for almost four years now and am very excited to quit once I go to university. Then my haiar can FINALLY be blue, since at my work you have to have "natural" coloured hair.

UCLA Orientation
Really...I thought today would never come. Only a month ago I was saying to myself "Ah I have a month to prepare, I'll be fine!" and now today has rushed up behind me and pushed me over the edge to becoming a "true" Bruin.
My day started at 4am with me rolling out of bed and attempting to make myself decent. At 5pm my father and I started on our (what we thought would be longer) trip to UCLA. I sat there nursing my coffee and listened to my beloved Industrial artists to keep me awake. Surprisingly, it only took an hour to arrive (thank whatever gods there are that we beat horrible morning traffic). So there I was at 6am waiting until 7:30am until it was check in time. Hey better to be early than late. Since check in time I've been told the same information several times at several different seminars. Not only me though but my "peers" around me have been told the same things just as many times, and can you believe it? SOME PEOPLE ARE STILL CONFUSED ON HOW THE SYSTEM WORKS! I'm sorry my "peers" I thought you would be smarter than your average student, you know getting into UCLA and all, guess not. I have honestly met smarter people at my junior college. However, this is just transfer orientation. Hopefully, I'll meet smarter people when I start fall quarter.
I have already finished picking out what classes I want and now I have to wait till 7:30pm to register for them. So now I'm just dicking around online until then.
But hey... HARRY POTTER TONIGHT! I'm going to dress like Bellatrix again.

wait...wat?
So it's been a few days. I've mostly been working and hanging out with friends. Today I finally finished the AlcoholEdu (if you don't know what it is it's an online safe drinking class) course for UCLA and now have to wait till part two is ready to be completed.
Currently, I'm becoming very frustrated with trying to find pictures of me from Anime Expo online. I've been sifting through pictures for hours on flickr and still can't find the few pictures I had taken of me. *angry*
On the brighter side MIYAVI is coming to America again and he better have a southern California show. Anyone know the dates yet?

Anime Expo Day One-Four Review
So it's been a few days since Anime Expo ended and I am truly sad. The weekend I just had with my friends should have been titled "A Five Day Drunk Party Weekend featuring, Anime Expo" because I swear we mostly drank the whole time. Which was good for the original goal I set out for myself, the goal being to take Hangover like pictures that I don't remember taking. There was also A LOT of walking that was done from our 13 person packed hotel room to the convention center and to hotel parties around the convention center. I managed to purchase the three most goth things I could possibly find at Anime Expo, one being a vile of blood necklace, two a severed finger hairclip and three a skeleton kigurumi. There were more than enough laughs, times of extreme anger and PLENTY of Guitar playing and singing (one night we just partied on a patio and drank and sang Cure songs ^-^). This past weekend was good for making new friends and becoming even closer to the ones I already have. I love (mostly) everyone dearly that I spent those four cramped nights in the Ramada with and wouldn't trade my weekend with them for the world. I can't wait till NEXT year's ANIME EXPO!

Anime Expo Day Zero Review
I'm sitting here in my several friends and mine's hotel room while they all sleep. Yesterday was day zero of Anime Expo and while we had a rough beginning (who was riding with whom and when certain people were going to arrive etc.) everything turned out peachy by about 1 am. We stayed up until about 5 am and then everyone went to sleep.
However, I'm about to go out of my fucking mind because I'm so tired. I am a VERY light sleeper. It's so bad that if someone breathes too loud I wake up. So I can't even sleep with my earphones in because I stay awake. So signing up for being with (right now we have more people coming) 8 other people in a room with me was really not the smartest move on my part. It's okay though I'll get over it. Or just bitch all the time. >:]
Well really that's all for now.
I'll be posting pictures later.
