UCLA Orientation

Really...I thought today would never come. Only a month ago I was saying to myself "Ah I have a month to prepare, I'll be fine!" and now today has rushed up behind me and pushed me over the edge to becoming a "true" Bruin.

My day started at 4am with me rolling out of bed and attempting to make myself decent. At 5pm my father and I started on our (what we thought would be longer) trip to UCLA. I sat there nursing my coffee and listened to my beloved Industrial artists to keep me awake. Surprisingly, it only took an hour to arrive (thank whatever gods there are that we beat horrible morning traffic). So there I was at 6am waiting until 7:30am until it was check in time. Hey better to be early than late. Since check in time I've been told the same information several times at several different seminars. Not only me though but my "peers" around me have been told the same things just as many times, and can you believe it? SOME PEOPLE ARE STILL CONFUSED ON HOW THE SYSTEM WORKS! I'm sorry my "peers" I thought you would be smarter than your average student, you know getting into UCLA and all, guess not. I have honestly met smarter people at my junior college. However, this is just transfer orientation. Hopefully, I'll meet smarter people when I start fall quarter.

I have already finished picking out what classes I want and now I have to wait till 7:30pm to register for them. So now I'm just dicking around online until then.

But hey... HARRY POTTER TONIGHT! I'm going to dress like Bellatrix again.
